ACTE is now a Cluster tweed member

TWEED (Technology of Wallonia Energy, Environment and sustainable Development) aims to play a major role in the business development of «sustainable energy» sectors.

 

Its first mission is to pave the way for the setting up of high quality and indus- trial-size projects in the fields of production and exploitation of sustainable energy, profitable enough to attract appropriate financial means.

 

“Sustainable energy” covers the following areas:

 

- Renewable energy sources ;

 

- The implementation of new processes in order to achieve energy savings, energy efficiency or the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, including CO2, at industrial level and in the tertiary sector ;

 

- The development of products pursuing the same goals, for industry, the tertiary sector or individuals («green» services and goods).

New gas turbine recuperator : HX CPT 70-7-0

Acte standardizes a recuperator for gas turbine in the 80 to 120 kWe range.

New waste heat recovery exchanger HX GAP 50-3-3

ACTE is now launching a new heat exchanger for heat recovery on waste gas.

This waste heat recuperator fits with several applications requirements such as : 

- industrial process chemney

- energy production 

- transport

- ...

This show is dedicated to environmental technologies and offers more than 200 specialized conferences and 350 exhibitors.

500 000 prematured death per year due to poor air quality

It is no secret. The way we use the planet's resources is not sustainable. According to the Europe Environment Agency (EEA), middle class consumers will reach 7 billion people by 2050… That means a lot of people eating, travelling, breathing, consuming, etc. And we don't even talk about the people who belong to other classes. Another consequence of our way of life, is the air pollution which is responsible for 500.000 premature deaths per year in Europe. Although there has been a small improvement over the last 10 years, it is way too much, especially when it can be avoided.

In order to effectively respond to the all spectrum of requests, ACTE increased its simulations studies capacities with the aquisition of new equipment. 

Thanks to the software modules CCM+, we can provide you with additionnal services :

CFD simulations 

- Material analysis FDM 

-  Studies related to thermal cycles, pressure, temperature... 

In addition to this and thanks to an Infrared Thermal Camera, we can also perform on-site analysis related to thermal transfer up to 1000°C.

 

These new services in our portfolio allow us to bring a 360° approach to our customer's projects, wherever they are study-oriented or targeting heat exchanger manufacturing. 

 

Of course, ACTE can also be your partner in designing a flow distribution system or in design challanging heat exchangers (high temperature, low pressure drops...)
